Here is the route I took....

In my online Runner's World Training Journal (which I LOVE), I call it the "Double Girls Loop-plus-a-little-somethin'-somethin'" route. Our "normal" girls route is 2-3 times a week at 6:15am (always - these girls are PUNCTUAL) when Valerie, Jen, Beth and I meet to hit a 4-mile loop (flat, thank you very much) which I know I have written about before but continues to just amaze me with the views of the SF Bay, beach, GG Bridge and Alcatraz. It's truly breathtaking. So today, for my "biggie", I ran the first loop with Beth, then ran the second loop with the end of a James Patterson audio book ("The Quickie"). Time flew by, but my legs were jello by the last 2 miles.
Lindsay, can't wait to run with you this weekend for a short one in San Diego, then our LONG 1/2 MARATHON next Sunday!!!

Good for you! If you can do 9+, you can absolutely do 13.1 with people cheering you on and lots of other people sweating more than you. What inspiration!
The rest of the team is behind you 120%! You and Linds will smoke those Kenyans! Have fun & enjoy running with your sister! Flamingo Love, Geri
