I am OFFICIAL, y'all!

I did it. Took the plunge. Pulled the plug (as my sis likes to say). I launched my very own website for photography!

Welcome to.....Brooke Bryand Photography

CHECK IT OUT!!! *

* Caution: Music plays!

I am so very excited to make this "professional" step. In the past, I have emailed photo samples to people who wanted me to take pictures for them...very antiquated for the wife-of-a-website-designer! At long last, my very own.

Lindsay's Lookin' PREG-NANT!!!

Lindsay is due in just a couple of weeks (May 5th, 2009) with their first baby...a BOY! We are all beside ourselves with excitement and ready to jump on a plane at any moment!

Dave and I flew to San Diego a couple of weeks ago for her baby shower and I got a chance to take some maternity pictures of Lindsay while we were there. Here are a few of my favorites...she looks absolutely fantastic!

Their dog, Jack, snuck in for one too

We went down to La Jolla Cove for a second shoot

Where For Art Thou, Blog-a-log???

I'm not sure exactly WHAT happened that caused me to be MIA for almost two months, but I am finally BACK! The funny thing about the blog is that if I don't document it, it's like it never happened....my memory is that of a 90-year-old, so this helps me remember and appreciate all of our experiences!

So - where I left off....the annual SF Chronicle Wine Tasting!!! It was at the end of February and we went out with a BANG. We decided that prior to the 3 hour wine-tasting, we better pre-party at our place with a champagne bar (thanks especially to Adrienne for providing amazing melon bellinis!).

Quite Possibly My Fave Pic...Rollin' Deep with Solos to the Wine Tasting

At the wine tasting, we dove into the food tastings...major caterers and SF restaurants showcase their skillz and we were happy to try as many as possible!

The Scene

As you can see in the above pic, there were thousands of people and several rows of wines to taste. In three hours, we made it down just ONE ROW!!! We tried to start a second row and got about 5 wineries deep...aka NOWHERE! We were having way too much fun being goofy.

We then decided it was a great idea to come back to our 700 square foot apartment with all 20 of us and rock out to L-O-U-D music (Dance Party USA, included), eat whatever scraps we had in the kitchen (and I do mean scraps...Dave and I don't cook, so Monica scavenged some 8-month-old-frozen tater tots to serve guests...ridiculous), and finally ordered pizza which we immediately devoured.

Finally, around 10pm (this started at 12pm), we headed to a club (111 Minna...aka "Triple Sticks") for an 80s party. I love this picture of Monica against the club backdrop of celeb pics:

We had a fantastic time and were once again reminded of how grateful we are for our friends here in San Francisco! xoxo
