I'm baaaaack! Running my tooshy off

I had my first post-baby race today! The San Francisco Half Marathon - yahoooooo! I have been training with my friend Mary (her first long race!) and it turns out that pushing strollers while training REALLY gives you an edge when you are actually running the race and have NOTHING to worry about but y-o-u! We had a great race...didn't win (2:20 time...11 min miles), but felt awesome and could have gone on and on for at least another 4-5 miles.

Cal was so cute and excited...it's like he's surprised every time he sees me even though we spend all day every day together! Dave is now a complete pro at being a race spectator and we saw him at Mile 4 and again at the Finish Line. He came equipped with champagne, donuts, choc chip cookies, Gatorade and more - fantastic! There were four of us running (also Trent, not in these photos) and we all celebrated in Golden Gate Park after the race.

So....next question is...what's next? Mary and I are considering a sprint triathlon in September (the one that I did two years ago), and I'm starting to think about doing another full marathon in June 2011 (San Diego Rock'N'Roll)...we'll see!
